John Wick Video Game Officially Confirmed

Jump into the shoes of John Wick in a new strategy based video game developed by Good Shepherd Entertainment.S

We’ve already experienced John Wick in a first-person shooter virtual reality game. Which released in 2017 titled John Wick Chronicles. But now the hitman has his very own strategy game. Which is currently in development for consoles, PC and also Mac via the Epic Games Store.

Good Shepherd Entertainment announces the upcoming video game namedJohn Wick Hex based on the huge movie franchise. Mike Bithell, the man behind Volume and Thomas Was Alone takes the lead in game design.

In a recent press release, the game publisher describes John Wick Hex as a “fast-paced, action-oriented strategy game”. The aim is to make you think and strike like John Wick.

Created in close cooperation with the creative and stunt teams behind the films, John Wick Hex is fight-choreographed chess brought to life as a video game, capturing the series’ signature gun fu style while expanding its story universe.

Players must choose every action and attack they make, while considering their immediate cost and consequences. Every move in John Wick Hex feels like a scene from the movies, and every fight contributes to your progress on the job and requires precise strategic thinking.

The game features a storyline inspired by the John Wick movies. With mission progression that unlocks new weapons, locations and of course, suit options.

The developer wishes to create the game in a finite ammo world. So that players must bear this in mind while playing through the story. Rather than always rushing through guns blazing.

While John Wick Hex has been officially confirmed. An release date is yet to be announced. Fortunately, the third installment of the film franchise, John Wick Chapter 3 Parabellum, is soon upon us.
