Will you be jumping in the BF6 open beta?

It looks like Battlefield 6 is already making waves and it hasn’t even been officially announced yet.

In what’s quickly becoming gaming’s worst-kept secret. EA and DICE are reportedly gearing up for the next installment following Battlefield 2042. While there’s been no formal reveal from EA. The steady stream of leaks over the past year has all but confirmed its existence.

Now, fans have spotted something big: a file labeled “Battlefield 6 Open Beta” has appeared in BF Labs, a private test platform used by developers and pro players.

This file discovery suggests that not only is Battlefield 6 in active development. But a beta could be just around the corner. Possibly even before the end of the year.

At the time of writing, there are no confirmed details from EA. We don’t yet know if the beta will be available on all platforms. How long it will run, or whether players will need to pre-order the game to participate. But if it’s a true open beta. Everyone should be able to jump in for free.

This leak is fueling hype for Battlefield 6, especially after Battlefield 2042 fell short of fan expectations. With a rumored $400 million budget and a reported target of over 100 million players, EA is clearly betting big on this next-gen shooter.

Battlefield 6 is set to launch in 2026. Putting it in direct competition with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 — setting up one of the biggest FPS showdowns in years.
