Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has less overall daily players than a Farming Simulator game.
The latest installment of Call Of Duty seems to be struggling to keep up with its previous editions. It’s no secret that majority of fans purchased it simply for Modern Warfare remastered. Currently only accessible through the Infinite Warfare disc.
Infinite Warfare sales are plummeting at an alarming rate. With the total number of units dropping almost 50% of what Black Ops 3 had within the same timeframe last year.
According to steam statistics, Farming Simulator 17, a game about driving tractors and upkeeping a farm. Has become more popular on Steam than the latest Call of Duty, one of the biggest first person shooter franchises in the history of video games.
The Steam statistics show Farming Simulator 17 is currently ranked 28th on their top 100 games list. Averaging more than 10k players daily compared to Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. Ranked 39th with a daily peak just short of 14k players.
A worrying sign for the Call of Duty franchise. Many fans want developers to see it as a wake-up call. The Farming Simulator 17 is a mighty competitor, though, it’s a great game for what it is. Boasting mostly positive reviews on steam and $25 cheaper than Call of Duty.
