Fallout 76 is hitting headlines again thanks to Bethesda. Unfortunately, deciding to ban a Fallout 76 player for simply having too much ammo is not a great PR move.

The player behind the ban, TwistedVoxel. Shared his story on Reddit of what exactly went down that lead to his banishment. He explains that he has played more than 900 hours in Fallout 76. Picking up tips and tricks along the way to thrive in the post-apocalyptic world. Sharing his expertise on Reddit with other players. However, this didn’t sit well with Bethesda, who had accused him of cheating.

The official email from Bethesda regarding the Fallout 76 account ban was posted on social media.

The offender had a few things to say on how unfair this was.

“I often use 2 accounts to transfer items between my characters. I even detail it in the comments of the above reddit post how and why I do this. My belief is that people see a level 450+ player trading with a level 2 character and immediately think REPORT HIM REPORT HIM REPORT HIM. I even get some players who harass me when I’m attempting to trade items.”

“Bethesda you need to fix this NOW. Not in a future patch. Not in a month. Now. You have banned the only legitimate player base left playing your game. I will be inputting support tickets non stop all day today.”

Fallout 76 has already been a massive fail in the eyes of the majority of the fanbase. Bethesda pulling moves like this has only created more backlash from the community.

Unfortunately, the banished player is yet to be reinstated with his accounts. I hope for his sake and also Bethesda. That they realize the outrage this has brought to their fans.
